QUESTION AND ANSWER is a collection of graded passages and exercises for oral comprehension practice. It is intended for adults and secondary school students who have been learning English for a year or less and it will bring them up to the level required for the Cambridge First Certificate in English examination.

The new edition is an expanded version of the very popular original book. Multiple choice questions have been introduced together with a completely new section consisting of sixty situations each calling for a particular linguistic strategy, as required by the new syllabus for the Cambridge exam.

A set of five accompanying tapes is available, containing recordings of each passage together with a set of mixed questions.
